AmeriCorps Project YES! Accepting Applications for 2016-17
AmeriCorps Project YES! in West Town is now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 program year. Project YES! members will work with children in Chicago charter schools or at a community center. Members will serve as tutors and mentors, creating volunteer opportunities for students and community members, as well as have the opportunity to partner with classroom teachers and program staff in order to enhance core curriculum and create innovative learning environments. If you are interested in community organizing and education, this opportunity should not be overlooked!

Interviews will run through the end of August, or until all positions have been filled. Minimum Requirements:
- 21 years of age
- U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject
This year’s term of service will begin on September 7, 2016 and run through July 31, 2017.
Compensation: Living Stipend of $12,530; Health Insurance; $5,775 Education Award given upon completion of the service; Invaluable training and experience
